Inbal Orpaz is a startup ecosystem expert, strategic consultant, and a storyteller. She is focused on marketing, tech employment and recruitment, the future of work, establishing entrepreneurial ecosystems, and women’s employment.
Founder of the “WomanInTech” initiative to promote women in high-tech, Inbal was featured in the 2017 issue of Forbes Under30 and was named as one of the top 100 most influential people in Israeli tech by Geektime (2015). A researcher at Lipkin Shahak program at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), Inbal is also Co-director of the Task Force Seizing New Growth Opportunities: Canarias/Israel Innovation Partnership.
Based on her deep knowledge, a network of connections and understanding of the Israeli tech ecosystem and other global entrepreneurship hubs, Inbal has developed a unique model that analyzes the way startup ecosystems evolve and the required steps to be taken to increase the volume of entrepreneurship.
Inbal covered the Israeli tech ecosystem for more than 7 years as a leading tech journalist of the financial publication TheMarker. Then she joined the global team of WeWork Labs and launched their early-stage entrepreneurship program in Israel.
Inbal helps startups with their marketing strategy and storytelling efforts. She’s also helping governments and corporates with building their innovation hubs and structuring their entrepreneurship ecosystem and lecturing about this topic to a global audience.
